Milk tea has been around UPLB circa 2010. Milk tea shops spread like wildfire. It’s not a strange sight if you see someone holding a cup of milk tea, hanging with a big straw to suck on those pearls. College students are a big cut on being Milk Tea enthusiasts. It’s healthy, quenches your thirst, and adequately cuts down your appetite.
2013 has not been a stranger to Milk Tea enthusiasts. It has more patriots and people actually go from different places just to buy a cup of MIlk Tea to a certain brand. Now, a new competitor has entered the bout and it has bought sizzle to the playing field.
If you roam around the campus long enough, you’ll see large cups of milk tea that will put you into awe. It is big. The cup is huge. If you ask the price of the milk tea, *note it that is large* they’ll tell you it’s between 55-100 pesos and you’ll be shocked. Several milk tea sellers do not have that kind of size and, if they do, they will sell it for a more hefty price.
“Cheap” and “Large” is an unusual combo these days, specially for Milk Tea. The normal price of a cup ranges from 75-100 pesos and that is pretty much how other stores sell them.
The franchise of these huge volumes of milk tea is named, SUPER CUPS. True to there name, the cups are huge. You’d probably have to share one cup and it will be suffice for two. That’s how large it is. For the taste, it’s pretty the same with other sellers.
I personally enjoy the pearl mlk tea and wintermelon.
I highly recommend this milk tea store if you’re the type of person who enjoys engulfing large amounts of liquids.
